Understanding the Impact of Trauma on Children's Brains, Bodies & Behaviours
SESSION NOW FULLY BOOKED - Please contact us at admin@connecteducation.info for private bookings.
Join us for the day to gain foundational knowledge on how trauma impacts children's brains, bodies and behaviours. This interactive session will support participants to develop an understanding of neurobiological development and explore the impact of trauma on children's arousal, attention and memory. We will engage in experiential learning and explore practical regulatory activities and reflect on the impact they can have on different bodies. Finally, we'll reflect on children's behaviour through a different lens; a lens of connection, communication and support. We'll prioritise identifying early warning signs of dysregulation and working in a preventative (rather than reactive) manner.
